The following is a list of our available papers and the current Visual Art student/staff price. Prices for alumni or other departments is 50% higher. Typically orders can be printed within 3-5 days during the business week. If you need your order within 48 hours we reserve the right to charge a 50% rush fee.
Enhanced Matte has a medium thickness and weight, and a smooth, soft white surface. Print quality is excellent, with deep blacks, saturated colors and good shadow and highlight detail. Enhanced Matte contains some acid content, which might cause the surface to yellow over time, so it cannot be considered archival. It’s the best choice for everyday printing or for projects that do not require absolute archival stability.

Enhanced Matte Poster Board is the same paper and surface as Enhanced Matte but mounted to a 1.2mm thick poster board. Available is sheets only, 24″x30″ is $17.00 printed, 30″x40″ is $34.00 printed.
Premium Luster Photo Paper delivers highly saturated prints by offering maximum ink coverage and a high D-Max for true photographic reproductions. Its 10-mil RC base gives prints a photographic feel. Available in 16″, 24″ and 44″ wide rolls. Prints on this paper sell for $3.50 per sq ft at basic resolution and $4.00 a sq ft at high resolution.
Premium Photo Paper Glossy has a high gloss finish. This paper is smudge and water-resistant with a smooth, bright white, resin coated stock. Available in 16″, 24″ and 44″ wide rolls. Prints on this paper sell for $3.50 per sq ft at basic resolution and $4.00 a sq ft at high resolution.
Hot Press Bright White An acid free, 100% cotton rag media with a bright smooth finish. This paper has an extremely-high color gamut and black density. Available in a 24″ wide roll. Prints on this paper sell for $4.50 per sq ft at basic resolution and $5.00 a sq ft at high resolution.
Exhibition Canvas Matte An acid free, lignin free heavyweight cotton-poly blend, this elegantly textured canvas features a matte non-reflective surface with a bright white point and wide color gamut. The canvas base is enhanced with elastic polymers providing high tensile strength and flexibility for gallery wrap stretching without cracking. Available in 24″ wide rolls. Prints on this paper sell for $4.50 per sq ft at basic resolution and $5.00 a sq ft at high resolution.

Special note about canvas top coats:
- As opposed to the display of photographic inkjet prints in traditional frames behind glass, prints made on inkjet canvas are usually presented in a “gallery wrap” format and can be either framed or unframed, but traditionally without a glass covering.
- Because of the traditional display style for canvas prints, top coating is an additional process for those who wish extra print surface protection. Epson recommends this for its Matte finish canvas only. For those who do not want to top coat, it is recommended that Exhibition Canvas Satin or Exhibition Canvas Gloss be used. These two finishes provide a surface with excellent durability including abrasion, crack, and water resistance even without the use of a top coat.
- The Photo Output Bureau does not supply top coats for canvas. The one that we recommend is Matt Varnish by Hahnemuhle. This comes in a brush-on-liquid or in an aerosol spray.
Epson Exhibition Fiber Paper is a true fiber-based, photographic paper, perfect for professional color and black-and-white prints. This is one of our highest-end photographic papers. Available in 24″ & 44″ wide rolls. Prints on this paper sell for $4.50 per sq ft at basic resolution and $5.00 a sq ft at high resolution.
Epson DisplayTrans Backlight Media This is an extremely high-resolution backlight film for professional backlight display applications. We presently have a 36″ wide matte roll and a 44″ wide glossy roll. Prints on this paper sell for $4.50 per sq ft at basic resolution and $5.00 a sq ft at high resolution.
Epson Crystal Clear Transparency Film CrystalClear Film is an optically clear film . We presently have a 24″ wide roll. Prints on this paper sell for $4.50 per sq ft at basic resolution and $5.00 a sq ft at high resolution.
Pictorico Transparency Film has a high ink absorption for sharpness. This film is used to make contact print negatives for alternative processes. It has a smooth translucent surface but are not completely transparent, it has a slight milky base. Available in 17″ and 24″ wide rolls. Prints on this paper sell for $4.50 per sq ft at basic resolution and $5.00 a sq ft at high resolution.
DASS Transfer Film is for use with pigment inks to transfer water-soluble inkjet prints to other substrates using gelatin and gels as a transfer medium. Available in 24″ wide rolls. Prints on this paper sell for $4.50 per sq ft at basic resolution and $5.00 a sq ft at high resolution.
Single Weight Matte is a good quality, 32 lbs paper. Perfect solution for affordable, high quality / low cost output from wide-format printers. Available in 24″ and 44″ wide roll at $1.50 per sq ft. Due to the nature of this material High resolution printing is not available.
Enhanced Adhesive Synthetic Paper is an affordable, polypropylene-base media ideal for signage. This thin lightweight media provides a flexible surface with a durable, wet-strength base and an instant-dry matte surface with an adhesive base. Available in 24″ wide roll at $4.00 per sq ft. Due to the nature of this material High resolution printing is not available.
LexJet Print & Stick has a smooth finish on a self-adhesive fabric. The fabric is bright-white Water-Resistant Satin Cloth backed with a repositionable adhesive that removes cleanly and easily with no residue. Presently available in 36″ and 44″ wide roll at $4.00 per sq ft. at High resolution.
